Yuca 105 – More A Lo Macho!

Yuca 105 is a “fusion” restaurant from the same people that created CVI.CHE105. Yuca is a blend of Cuban and Peruvian food. We started with a tartar:

Tuna and Salmon Tartar

Followed by a Peruvian fried rice or Chaufa. Surprisingly, there is Japanese and Chinese influence on Peruvian cuisine. This is one common dish, in Peru, is usually washed down with Inka Cola.

We also had the Tacu Tacu Mero Mero macho.

A delicious fried fish with the a lo macho sauce which I love. My only complaint was there was not enough sauce and we had to order a side extra of it.

Overall, service was ok and the food was very good. However, I am undecided if I would go back. I prefer the pescado a lo macho at CVI.CHE105. Since they are related restaurants, the sauce recipe is probably the same.
