Soggy Sandwiches at this Institution

Petrossian is a French company which is known for their caviar. Its been around since 1920. Its usually a dependable place to get caviar. However, on our last visit to the Galeries Lafayette location in Paris, we were disappointed with the quality of some of the products. To star, we ordered a jar of ossetra and sevruga.

I was disappointed by the presentation and quality of the blinis. Also, the caviar was not served with the usual accompaniments. The French take a lot of pride and care in their food so this was a drastic surprise for me. However, the worst part was the croque monsieur with caviar. The bread on the bottom was completely soggy.

For the prices they are charging this is just unacceptable. I will no longer return. If you want an amazing caviar experience in Paris, I suggest this place instead.
