La Bourse et la Vie – Small Bistro Big Flavor

La Boruse et La Vie is a small bistro in Paris.ย  I went straight to the main dish here without a starter because I had a big lunch.ย  Roasted pigeon, and foie gras.ย  It is brought over in a copper pan and then plated for your tableside.ย  The sauce is a warm vinaigrette, is delicious, and cuts the richness of the dish well.

This is a heavy dish.ย  Absolutely delicious.ย  The perfectly cooked pigeon and the fattiness of the foie work so well together with the sauce.

For dessert a rum baba.ย  Not the best I’ve had but still good.

Service was very good.ย  Others at my table had ribeye and also fish.ย  Both were good too.ย  8.5/10
