I didn’t know what to expect when I booked a reservation at Capo’s. The place had great reviews and an old school charming vibe that appealed to me. Upon arrival, I saw the following sign at the door and knew I would love the place:

I won’t ruin the surprise for you, but once we entered, the guy showed us to our seat, with a great view of the performer.

Shortly after, someone came to take water and drink orders, then our server came to go over the menu. Everyone was friendly and efficient. We started with the calamari.

It was well battered, well fried, well seasoned and delicious. The sauce was tasty and the chopped pepperoncini added some freshness and a slight spice. The next dish was the house red sauce and we added a meatball at the suggestion of our server.

The pasta had a perfect chewy consistency and was al dente. Obviously handmade and this was confirmed by our server. I was impressed. I would say the style is Italian American. Based on this, I want to try the other pastas on the menu. The meatball was moist and meaty. The sauce was well balanced. Very very good. I usually have pasta leftovers at an Italian restaurant, but we finished this entire dish.
For the final course we had the ribeye.

It was tender, served with garlic butter and had a nice grilled taste. Then dessert; I think it was banana chocolate:

During the meal, there were entertainers that came around in addition to the person singing on stage. It was such a great vibe in there. Dim, entertainment, music, people having a good time, good service, and good food. The entire package. I can’t wait to go back and would highly recommend this place.
