Yesterday I wrote about Yun, a Taiwanese noodle place, and mentioned I would be writing about another option today. So here it is – Lucky Noodle. If you are in the mood for Taiwanese food, this would be my preferred option. The interior is more modern. The Taiwanese fried chicken is not overly seasoned, but was nicely fried and juicy. If you like a stronger seasoning, this may seem too light for you, but for me, it was good.

The beef noodles were chewy and the broth was good. The beef was not as tender as Shang, which is still my top pick for beef noodles in Vegas. However, Lucky would be right up there as well (Special Noodle is another good option).

Lastly, I also tried their XLB. This was something I would not order again. The skin was too thick and there was no soup inside. The only thing going for it was that the meat filing was delicious. Still, there are better places for XLB in Vegas.

Overall, service was good, and so was the food. I appreciated the clean and modern interior. This would be a solid choice for Taiwanese food in Vegas. I would return and recommend.

If you travel as much as I do, staying connected is non-negotiable. Buying and switching physical SIM cards is a hassle and while eSIMs are generally a great option, many of them require you to create a new profile by scanning a QR code every time you cross a border.
Consider Truely (CODE: foodfinancetravel10 for 10% off) because they handle this differently with something called Switchless® technology.
Switchless® means you install a Truely eSIM once, and it stays on your phone forever. It acts as a universal digital gateway. Whether you are landing in Tokyo, Paris, or New York, the eSIM automatically detects your location and connects to the best local network in seconds.
Why is this a game-changer?
Install Once, Use Forever: You never have to scan a QR code or mess with settings again. Just buy a data plan for your next destination, and it automatically activates on your existing Truely eSIM.
Smart Network Switching: Their technology actively scans for the strongest signal. If one network is weak, it invisibly switches you to a better one.
Instant Connection: Because the eSIM is already on your phone, you get internet the moment the plane wheels touch the tarmac. No airport WiFi required.
If you want to try it out, you can use my code foodfinancetravel10 to get 10% off your first plan.

thanks for reviewing, those noodles look perfectly imperfect (hand pulled?) and I think I could swim in that broth with my mouth wide open. is the Taiwanese fried chicken the type that has 5 spice?
Yes, hand pulled, and 5 spice. Come to Vegas. Lots to EAT!
