Recently, Caesar’s announced an offer for those with Nevada ID: 20% off F&B at their 8 properties across Las Vegas, and complimentary self-parking Sunday through Thursday from September 21 to October 30, 2025. Naturally, I wanted to take advantage of the offer so I decided to go for dinner to test out the discount. First, its not easy to find one list of all the participating restaurants. I couldn’t even get ChatGPT to generate the list. If they want to market this properly, Caesar’s should provide a list of all participating restaurants. We call Sushi Roku in the Forum Shops and were informed that they are not part of the program. I made an RSVP at Pier 17 and upon arrival, was told they are owned by a different group, and also not part of the program. At this point we decided to walk over to Hell’s Kitchen and was informed that they ARE part of the program! Whooohooo. I had a really good experience there recently. Unfortunately, they were full for walk-ins. I will definitely make an RSVP to take advantage of the offer. The next spot we tried was Peter Luger. This would be my second time at their Vegas location. We were told that they did have the offer going and were seated in the bar area!
For starters, we got the crab cakes which were meaty and pretty good with the sauce provided. However, the best appetizer here is the BACON which we got last time and in NYC! Its highly addictive.
The restaurant will also bring a bread basket. The one with onion filling was nice and savory. They also provide their signature Luger sauce, which is like a toned down cocktail sauce, and I like putting it on everything from the bread to fries. Anyway, for our mains we ordered the burger which is typically only available at lunch and the steak for one. Sides were creamed spinach and fries.
Lets talk about the burger. The patty was cooked perfectly medium rare as requested. I could taste aging on the beef they used. I got it with American cheese, onion and tomato. You can also add bacon. I put a bit of the Luger sauce on each bite. Overall, the burger is above average. It would be even better if they used a better bun. For some reason, they serve it with a dry grocery store bun which doesn’t do the patty justice. Next, the steak:
Of my three visits to a Peter Luger, this was my least favorite. The steak itself was cooked perfectly medium rare, but it was a bit tough and lacked flavor. Still OK. The spinach was ok but the fries were below average. First, I like thinner cut fries. They also varied from soggy to slightly crisp. Lastly, more seasoning would be nice. The meal ended with some chocolate gold coins provided with the bill. When the bill came, I gave our server my ID and the offer was so new, he had to verify the discount. Anyway, they came back and I was happy to see the meal came to $239.60 MINUS a discount of $59.90! Overall, although Luger in NYC is much better, I do like the atmosphere of the Vegas one, and the food is pretty decent so I would go back. I did a previous comparison here.
After dinner, we decided to go for a walk to burn some calories. We ended up buying some cookies from the Honolulu Cookie Company in the Linq walkway, and to my pleasant surprise, were provided with a 10% local discount which came to $3.40.
When it was time to go, we went to the parking structure. Usually, most properties will give residents 3 hours free. You just need to scan your ID on check out. If it doesnt work, press the call button and tell the person you are local. You will usually have to hold up your ID to a camera. I spoke to some locals who didn’t know about this so – you’re welcome if you didn’t know. Caesar’s has extended this to be unlimited from Sunday to Thursday, and weekends will still be 3 hours. We were there about 3.5 hours and the parking came to $25. However, upon scanning my Nevada ID, it was reduced to zero!
On this night, we took advantage of 3 discounts for locals and saved a total of $88.30! I will be doing more research on Caesar’s restaurants and seeing if we can save even more next time!
