Hiden is literally a hidden gem in Miami

Hiden is a one Michelin star omakase restaurant in Miami. The entrance to the restaurant is hidden in the back of a taco shop, hence the name.

Here was the menu for the evening:

The only choices you will have to make for the evening is whether you want to upgrade the caviar service, and if you want drinks.

All the seating is counter, and on the night we dined, there were 8 people in total.

Here was the amuse:

…followed by uni toast…

The chef then presented some of the fish for the evening…

some wagyu…

…and the dish before the first sushi course (silver beltfish)…

Then, the main event started…

Then, chawanmushi before the second set of nigiri…

Then, the course finished with a negi toro handroll with some caviar (extra)…

…and the meal finished with miso soup and a dessert…

Overall, this was a very enjoyable meal. The service and ambiance combined for a really good time. The food was outstanding, and definitely one of my top 10 omakase meals in memory. I would highly recommend and return.
