Day 8 in Antarctica started with more beautiful landscapes.
On today’s excursion, I saw some seals on land, and swimming in the waters!
It was also magical to cruise through ice in the water close up.
After the morning cruise, we were given a tour of the bridge. It was cool to see all the modern equipment and what it took to navigate a ship of this size!
In the afternoon, we went on another excursion and were surprised with a champagne party at sea!
Later that evening, more surprises would come. I spotted a pirate like sailing ship in the water. It was like being in a dream.
…and the day ended with the most gorgeous Antarctic sunset!
