Claro in Tel Aviv describes itself as a Mediterranean “farm to table” restaurant. The day we arrived for dinner, it was extremely packed and they said they could not find our reservation. After some back and forth with my assistant, it was discovered that she had book at table at 9, which the restaurant (which serves breakfast) interpreted as 9AM. She should of specified 9PM or 21:00. So if you dine here, make sure you clarify the time. Anyway, after everything was cleared up, they were able to accommodate us and we were shown to our table. First, the exterior of the place was nice.

The interior was lively.
Here is a look at the food.

Almost everything was delicious, and like any great restaurant and culture, they serve prawns with the head!

After dinner, our server gave us a tour of the restaurant and explained about its history. There were tunnels underneath built by the templars, then at one time, it was used by a bank, and then by the Israeli Police. There are multiple bars, and function area downstair and we got to see the tunnels too.
Overall, food, service and atmosphere were good here. The tour of the underground was a nice bonus. I would eat here again and recommend this place.
