Tartufi and Friends – You will want more friends like these

We came across Tartufi and Friends by accident, and had a fantastic lunch there.  It is located in the shopping area of Rome, on Via Borgognona.

First off, take a look at the wall art, and the truffles on display, how could you not eat here?

I had the “classic” with handmade pasta which was just incredible.

…and also the poached egg, truffle “caviar” (basically balls of truffle jelly they make), and truffles, served with some bread.

The place is small and has outdoor seating.  Perfect spot for lunch.  Service is friendly and efficient.  I would definitely return many times.  9/10
