I recently went to check out Mikiya Wagyu Shabu located on the amazing road for food that is Spring Mountain in Vegas. As you can probably tell from the name, the restaurant offers wagyu hot pot. Its all you can eat and they have a few menu options. We went with the basic which includes American Wagyu. The next tier up includes Australian Wagyu and then there is one with Japanese.
The place was busy on a Wednesday night around 9PM and there was a bit of a wait. Tip: add yourself to the waiting list online. If you get called before before you show up, they will kick you off. Just re-add yourself. After about 5 minutes some seats opened up at the counter. Note that with counter seating, the hot pot is portable so the pot is smaller and you will only be able to choose one broth.

Once you choose the menu you want, you can also choose some side dishes, and small bites off another menu. The other (non hot pot) menu had things like fried chicken, gyoza, curry bowls, and many other choices. I chose the sukiyaki broth and my wife went with miso. Our first round of meats came with three different thinly sliced cuts of beef (I think it was brisket, shoulder and one other) and one pork.
We also got some veggies and starches. If you don’t mind waiting, I think a table is better because we ran out of space quickly and the servers are not quick to remove empties.

The broth, and quality of food was very good. The price was very good relative to what you get.
Here is the wagyu on display:
Overall, this was a fantastic dinner at a good price. Service ranged from indifferent to good. As mentioned empties were not cleared fast BUT food arrived quickly as you order. For dessert, they have 3 flavors of mediocre ice cream, but that’s not why you’re there. I would go back and recommend.
