Good Ramen in an Unlikely Spot – Tachi Ramen Las Vegas

If you are unfamiliar with Vegas, you may be surprised to learn that it has one of the best areas for eating Asian food in terms of convenience, abundance and diversity. I’m talking about Spring Mountain Road, and its the Chinatown of Las Vegas. Along this road, you will find endless options for eating Asian food of all kinds. That’s why, on a recent trip to Vegas, I was surprised to find a good ramen place that was located away from Spring Mountain, in a mixed use luxury complex in the southwest area of the city of all places. The places is called Tachi Ramen and as of writing, it has a well deserved 4.9 rating on Google. I was skeptical at first, but once I tasted the broth I knew it was legit. The noodles and broth are on point, and they pay attention to little details. The chashu is smoked and the egg is soy marinated. Little details like this add flavor and complexity to the overall dish. We also ordered chicken karage, but unfortunately, this was not on the same level as the ramen. I like my karage with a thicker batter.

Overall, service was good. Our server came over to check on the food, and I could tell she took a lot of pride in the broth. I would definitely go back if I was in the area, and recommend to someone if they are looking for ramen in the area too.

  1. nice job on the review!
I googled “Tachi Ramen Spring Mountain” and your blog was Hit #2, first page results

Did you get the garlic ramen? The pic doesn’t have the characteristic black oil pools on the surface.

Also, is this in the Chinatown area? I mapped out a future plan to hit up this place and your other recc Paleta Bar, and they seem quite distant from each other, definitely not walkable
