The most mind blowing cheesecake and possibly dessert ever – La Vina

La Vina is a restaurant in San Sebastian, Spain which specialize in pintxos (or tapas). However, the main reason to come here is for the Basque style cheesecake. Apparently, there are always long lines, but we went just before noon and there was zero wait. We enjoyed a number of different items as you can see in the pic below including two things which stood out which were the Iberico ham and a kind of potato tuna salad.

The absolute best thing though was the cheesecake.

The reputation of this thing is well deserved. It was totally mind-blowingly delicious. The taste and texture and just everything about it had my head spinning with every bite. Its definitely one of the best desserts, not just cheesecake, I’ve ever had.

Service was good. You order at the counter then grab a seat and they bring everything to you. The pintxos were good. The cheesecake mind blowing. I would come back just for that cake, and not just recommend it, but insist you go try it.
