You need Spaghetti Ramen in your life!!!

On a recent trip to NYC during their restaurant week, I went to a pop up of Home’s Pasta for lunch. It was held at Wano. Home’s is based in Shibuya in Tokyo, and is known for their spaghetti ramen. When I saw the email promo, I was curious because this is combining two of the world’s best cuisines, and I have eaten at Japanese Italian mash up places before (specifically in Vegas) and its delicious as expected. Here was the menu:

For starter, I had the amberjack which was good, but I was here for the ramen:

…I was tempted to try the one with uni, but I decided to go with the original…

It was absolutely delicious. The noodles were well cooked meaning, al dente. The flavors of garlic and umami from mushrooms complimented with the right amount of heat (spice) and a touch of sweetness made each bite like heaven. It was also served with some garlic bread. Then mango sorbet for dessert:

Service was excellent and the food was outstanding. Although its a pop up, I would gladly go again if available and highly recommend. I will be definitely finding this in Tokyo! I think this is such a creative and well executed concept.
