On a recent trip to Miami, I used ChatGPT extensively to find venues. For example, I asked it to find me upscale bars, open late on a Tuesday, and then put the info in a table with the closing times and Google ratings of each bar. Then I asked it to map a route to visit all the bars from the restaurant I was having dinner at, and back to the hotel. I was really impressed with the results and speed. This task would of taken me at least 30-60 minutes in the past. ChatGPT produced results I wanted in less than a minute. The venues I ended up visiting were exactly what I wanted. Here is a look at the map output:

Satisfied with these results, I asked it to find me a lunch spot. My specifications were: nice view of the water, a Google rating of at least 4.5 and an atmosphere similar to Giselle. Of the results it gave, I decided on a place called Rusty Pelican. Upon arrival, I noticed that the atmosphere was no where near that of Giselle. That is ok because it was a lunch (but even if it were dinner, I don’t think this place is going to come anywhere close to being like Giselle). All the other boxes were ticked. We were given a nice window table with a gorgeous water and downtown Miami view:
In terms of food, lets look at each dish. First, the short rib empanadas. This was the most disappointing dish. The beef was not seasoned well and even with the sauce provided, the flavors were quite boring. The ube bao buns were good. I was impressed that the restaurant was able to create ube flavors in the bun. I also had the Mexican street corn which was pretty good. Lastly, the fried red snapper was pretty good too. Not amazing mind blowing, but good. For dessert, sticky toffee pudding:

The dessert was pretty good also, but could of been improved by having some toffee sauce to pour on top. Overall, service was ok, the server was friendly but not always available in the section we were seated in. The food was decent. Usually, places with nice views have horrible food. This was not the case with this place. I would not return, but if you are looking for a lunch spot with a nice view of Miami, its worth a visit once, to experience it.
