On a recent overnight stopover in Toronto, my flight was landing at 9PM, and by the time I got to my hotel it would be even later. I needed a place that served good food late. My daughter did some research and made a 10:30 reservation at Le Swan. It is a “French Diner” concept. The diner part was on point. When you walk in, the place has a very nostalgic diner feel to it which is something I like. As for food, we started with the corn dogs. They were delicious.

Next, a cobb salad

…beef tartare:

onion rings, I did not like these as the breading was very doughy; almost like a donut

steak frites and green beans; the green beans were delicious and had a “wok hay” taste to them

rotisserie chicken

Overall, for a late night spot, the food was good. It would not be my first choice if there were other options though. Some of the dishes were over seasoned. Service was ok.
