Thinking back on my trip to Israel there was really only one disappointing meal – Night Kitchen. Here was the menu that night.

We went for the dinner with friends option which basically allows you to choose a few items from the menu, drinks, dessert and discounts on wine. The meal started with some bread.

Then the fish carpaccio which was WAY too acidic.

Then the most disappointing fried cheese ever. It wasnt “melty”!

You cannot call something fried cheese and have a center like this!!!!!!!!!!!!!:

Next, a very unremarkable and average piece of steak. So disappointing especially after M25.

Fish shawarma which was also too acidic.

…and finally, dessert, which took forever to arrive. Our server literally forgot about us when we followed up.

Overall this was a disappointing meal. Poor use of acidity, unremarkable ingredients, and not so great service. I would skip this place.
