New daily cases in Canada increased 22% today, breaking the trend seen globally. After 3 straight days of declining new cases, today saw an increase in the number of new cases. it should be noted that the 1,298 new cases reported on April 14, represents 0.0035% of the population. The similar figure in the USA is 0.0076%.
The USA continued its trend posting the 4th straight day of a decline in the number of new cases daily. New cases dropped 9.4% from the day earlier.
Globally, the downward trend continued for the third straight day.
