Kimchi Pancakes

Here is a quick, fast and delicious recipe that is perfect for breakfast or a snack.

Makes 1 large pancake:

  • half cup flour
  • half cup water
  • 8oz of kimchi roughly chopped
  • 1 egg (optional)
  • sesame or other vegetable oil
  • salt and pepper
  • furikake sprinkles (optional)

Combine the first four ingredients in a mixing bowl and season.


Heat the oil in a frying pan on medium.  Pour the batter in, season, and sprinkle the furikake on top.

Once browned on one side, flip over and brown the other side.  Season again and serve.
