If you are torn between having tonkatsu and sushi for lunch in Vegas, then head to Ton Shou and have both! That’s what I did on a recent Friday. This post is an update since I wrote about this place in July of last year. I started with the blue fin tuna maki. The tuna was high quality, had the right fatty texture and was flavorful. The rice and nori were also done well.

For mains we had both the loin and tenderloin. The loin was tender, more fatty and well battered.

All the sides were on point as well. My favorite part of a good tonkatsu meal is actually the soup. This one was no exception and the broth was flavorful. The tenderloin was also good but I would stick with the loin. Service was very good. I would return and recommend.
