Caramba is a famous seafood restaurant in San Pedro, Belize. The attraction is the large selection of fresh seafood outside which you select then request the restaurant to cook how you want.

Here is what we selected:

With our server’s advice, we chose the way each was to be cooked. The meal started with some complimentary garlic bread:

Then the mains came out:

…and you also get to choose some sides.

Everything was pretty unremarkable. It wasn’t bad but wasn’t amazing either. If you are looking for fried fish and stone crabs, a better choice would be Elvi’s which I recently posted about. We finished the meal with dessert:

Overall, service was ok, but the food was mediocre. Other than the novelty of being able to select from a wide variety of fresh fish, there is nothing attractive about dining here. One positive aspect of this place is the cigar store across the street. They have a selection of cigars from all over the world, including Belizean cigars which I had to try:

They also have an assortment of rums and you can smoke and drink on the front porch.
