Magnolias – Good Southern Lunch in Charleston

For one of our lunches in Charleston I went to Magnolias. A highly rated Southern food restaurant. To start, I had the blue crab bisque:

Followed by deviled eggs:

…and then the fried green tomato BLT for my main:

Overall, the food was good, service was good though a bit slow, and the atmosphere was refined. I would go back to try other items. The drink pictured is sweet tea which is basically just sweetened ice tea, and is popular in the South. In general, I don’t like sugary drinks, but when in Rome….
