Globally, the change in the number of daily new cases grew slightly, by 0.2%, over yesterday. Overall, total cases grew 5.73%. The 5 day moving average of the growth in daily new cases continues to be negative which is a positive sign.
Data in Canada showed large improvements compared to yesterday. The number of new cases fell 28.3% versus the previous day, and total cases grew 7.5%.
In the USA, total cases grew 9.1% and the change in daily new cases grew 3.8%.
Some politicians in the U.S. are predicting large increases this week so it will be interesting to see the future data which will tell us whether the forecasts are materializing or if the situation is turning out to be not as bad as expected.
