Lucali is an extremely well known pizza restaurant based in Brooklyn. It is not unheard of to wait hours. I don’t think they have delivery or takeout. Not matter how good the food, I don’t want to wait that long for it.
To my surprise, they opened one in Miami and they have delivery through Uber Eats. So, its not the original from NYC, and its not even fresh in store in Miami, but through delivery, but given the long waits, this would have to do.
The pizza itself is somewhat of a cross between Neapolitan and New York big slice pizza.
I ordered the plain pie. The crust/bread was very delicious, the cheese combination was savory and they had some fresh basil on the side which you can add yourself. I loved it. Its a great pizza. If you want to try Lucali and don’t want to wait for hours, this is the best way to do it.
