New cases spiked in Canada today, exceeding 2,000 new daily cases since the pandemic started. We will have to wait for more data to see if this is an anomaly or not. For perspective, I will also start reporting the number of total cases and new daily cases as a percentage of the total population.
The USA also saw an increase in the number of daily new infections versus the previous day.
Globally, the growth in new cases was not as large, increasing 2.6%.
